Sept 19, 2009 : The Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata has invited applications for admission to three year full time Postgraduate Diploma Courses in the following specializations. (1) Direction & Screenplay Writing (2) Cinematography (3) Editing (4) Audiography.

Eligibility

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. For the Audiography course, applicant should have studied Physics at the Plus two level.

Total seats – 40 (10 seats for each specialization). Medium of instruction will be English. Reservation as per Government of India rules.

Application form and other details can be downloaded from the website www.srfti.gov.in . Duly completed application along with the processing fee of Rs. 1500/- in crossed demand draft in favour of Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata should be sent to the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute , EM By Pass Road. P.O, Panchasayar, Kolkata- 700 094 so as to reach on or before 19th November 2009.

This institute is functioning under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting , Government of India. Hostel facility will not be available for the newly admitted students in the first year.
