Incepted in the year 1989 with the name Professional Computers at Tirupur and Coimbatore with business proposals of selling Siva Computers as dealer and training college students on software operating skills. The response to the services of Professional Computers were very good and there was demand by clients to start up a separate training centre where staff of various colleges and private companies could attend Computer Proficiency Training Programs. Based on demand, Professional computer was ripped into Professional Computers – A dealership concern selling Hardware and related services in the territory of Palakkad – Salem and Institute of Computer Studies popularly known as ICS in the region. ICS was offering training on Foxpro, Lotus123, Wordstar etc. through diploma courses.
In the year 2000, when Mainframes created huge job market ICS concentrated on mainframe training. It was renamed to Institute of Mainframe Technology (IMFT) later. iMFT to provide IT manpower solutions and corporate training services to some of the large corporate organizations Nation wide along with public training on Mainframe, Software Testing and Telecom Protocols.
