College Transfer
NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited for considering College Transfer of B.Tech
students to Engineering Colleges affiliated to the University of Calicut
from Engineering Colleges affiliated to other Universities with in the State
of Kerala. Applications are also invited for College Transfer of B.Tech
students between Engineering Colleges affiliated to the University of
Calicut during 2009-2010. The applicants should have completed the I &
II Semester courses and appeared for the combined examination of I and II
Semester of the B.Tech course and should be eligible for promotion to the
IIIrd Semester class to be considered for College Transfer.
The applications should be submitted to the Registrar, University of
Calicut in the proforma enclosed, alongwith the attested copy of marklist
of the qualifying examination, Copy of Hall Ticket of S1 S2 Examinations
and also a chalan for Rs.100/- being processing fee, which is not
refundable under any circumstances. In case of SC/ST applicants, a
certificate to prove that he/she belongs to SC/ST Community shall also be
submitted in Original. The applicants shall also sent proof of having been
admitted to the Engineering College in merit seat, namely the attested
copy of the Green Card/Centralised allotment process or those students
who are reallotted based on higher option either a copy of the intimation
of Selection for higher option from the Commissioner of Entrance
Examination or a certificate form the Principal to prove the details of
selection based on higher option. Only those who are admitted in merit
seat need apply for transfer.
Applications should be routed through the Principals of Engineering
Colleges in which the students are studying duly certified by the
Principals, and correct in all respects. Applications not routed through
the Principals will not be considered.
The last date of receipt of application is 27th July 2009.
Applications for transfer from the students of Engineering Colleges
affiliated to this University to the Colleges in other Universities within the
State of Kerala need not be sent to this University, in response to this
notification. Instead, the concerned University may be contacted.
The Heads of Account and facilities for remitting the fees are as follows.
1. All treasuries in Malappuram District 8443-00-106 PD account of
Calicut University.
2. Other treasuries with in the State of Kerala 8658-00-102-96 (02)
CUS.
3. All Calicut University Cash Counter in the Calicut University
Campus.
4. Friends Jenasevana Kendra.
5. All branches of the SBT under the Kozhikode zone and selected
branches of the bank under other zones.
