Candidate will further develop and maintain the optimization capability within MD Nastran.
This entails enhancing existing capabilities, extending the product into new areas and working with GUI development staff to provide a complete optimization solution.
Graduate/ Post Graduate/PHD Degree in Engineering
10+ years of experience in the development of finite element tools.
Knowledge of current optimization strategies with emphasis on mathematical programming techniques.
Strong programming skills
Experience in the development of the Nastran finite element code a plus.
Ability to diagnose and resolve deficiencies revealed in the code.
Proven ability to author design documents, devise and implement software project plans
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Team player that can work effectively with other members of the Nastran development team and other MSC organizations.
