Job Description:
The technical support engineer is responsible for driving technical service resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through providing pre and post-sales technical/functional support to current and prospective customers for Comcon products.
This position is responsible for troubleshooting technical problems that customers may encounter using COMCON products, diagnose and resolve client PC configuration issues, diagnose and resolve basic network conflicts and congestion issues, and advise our customers on the use of Comcon products.
In addition, the TSE will also be responsible to maintain the in-house IT setup at optimum working levels.
The TSE must be a team player capable of high performance and flexibility working in a dynamic 24x7 environment.

Technical Support Engineer will be responsible to:
To act as a lead customer issue resolution executive and take ownership of all assigned tasks.
Develop a good understanding of the existing products and applications (functional as well as technical).
Provides complete customer support and resolve issues related to installation, implementation, deployment, functionality and usage of all Comcon Products. Handles cases from premium customers, channels/partners/resellers.
Maintain in-house IT network at the company offices
Conducts technical training and provides assistance to co-workers.
Participates in beta & production product validation testing
Provides email, phone, remote control and on-site support
Have a strong Customer Focus in order to provide a professional support service to both internal and external cliental.
Flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of the team, and ability to multi task
Maintain Knowledge base and share experience with support team members.
Desired Profile:
Extensive knowledge including installation, configuration and maintenance, of Windows OS’s – importantly desktop Oss with hands on experience with PCs (hardware), Windows-98/2000, Windows-NT, Windows-XP and Windows-Vista.
Working knowledge of basic office data tools – Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc – very necessary.
Working knowledge of networking- LAN/WAN – to be able to provide troubleshooting in this area
Ability to communicate, present and sell ideas to all levels of the organization
Knowledge of Databases (script writing, report) MySQL, MS SQL 2003/2005 will be an added plus
Experience –
Freshers BE/ Btech / Bsc / Diploma / MCA
Graduate any other discipline with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
