System Engineer (Linux and windows)

Job Description
  • Debug and correct technical issues on Webservers, Mail servers, Databases, Control panels
  • Provide any services required on a Hosting Server
  • Audit and secure servers to make them stable, secure and high performing


To take part in the selection process Register / Login at SHREDS website. Once you login, confirm for Poornam selection. Hallticket will be available online for confirmed candidates. In case you are not able to get hallticket online, you can buy the hallticket in the test venue for additional Rs. 100/-

All the candidates should bring the following to test venue: Writing Pad, Two copies of RESUME, Two sets of photocopies of your mark lists, Three copies of passport size photographs, Rs.100/- to be paid to SHREDS towards examination fees, Gum, College ID/Any other Photo ID.


Eligibility Criteria
  • B-Tech Degree – CS,IT and All Electronics branches
  • Cut off Percentage: Aggregate 65% (64.99 is invalid)
  • Batches - 2010 and 2009
  • Should not have existing arrears
  • EXCELLENT written & oral communication skills
  • Ready to be based in Cochin, Kerala
  • Willingness to work in shifts (night shifts will be there)

Selection Pattern
  • Written test (Aptitude, C, LINUX, General Technical Awareness, Communication)
  • Interviews (Technical and HR rounds)
  • 2009 batch test and interview on 11th July. For 2010 batch: only test on 11th, Interview after one week at Poornam office at Cochin.

Service Conditions:
  • Salary 1,98,000/-
  • Probation Period and Service agreement for 6 months.
  • Shift working is compulsory and 6 day work week.
  • Submission of certificate originals at the time of joining.
